Sample case: San Jose Mercury News

Human resources at the SJ Mercury wanted to find a way to give a virtual walkthrough tour and background information to their incoming recruits in a time and cost effective manner. With the sheer number of recruits, having a personal guided tour would be a full-time obligation for a staff member and an unnecessary expense. We created a 10 minute virtual walk-through of the various departments along with on-screen facts and history of the newspaper. In this way, a consistent message could be delivered to a large audience in a fraction of the time that a physical tour requires. Additionally, they benefited from minimized disruption of daily operations.  This video was easy to update with the addition of new footage, and could be made available to schools and other institutions interested in a virtual tour of the San Jose Mercury’s operations. Amount saved: thousands of dollars yearly!
